Hello, and welcome!
If you are reading this, you are among the very first people to discover The Daily Catholic.
That means something to us, and we hope it will come to mean something to you too.
This is not a complicated idea.
Each morning, we will send you something small but substantial: a word from scripture or a saint, a brief reflection on what it means for your life today, a prayer you can carry with you, and one simple thing you might do differently because of it.
That is it. Nothing more, nothing less.
We are not here to lecture or impress.
We are here because most of us, if we are honest, want to live our faith more fully than we do.
We believe in it. We love it. But the day gets going and the noise gets loud and before we know it, another week has passed without a single quiet moment with God.
The Daily Catholic is that moment. Every morning, before the noise begins.
Over the coming days you will meet saints you may not have heard of and rediscover ones you have.
You will find words written centuries ago that somehow speak directly to where you are right now.
We hope you will be surprised.
We hope you will be moved.
And on the days you are not, we hope you will simply feel accompanied.
Thank you for being here at the beginning.
It matters more than you know.
If there is someone you know that you think would benefit from also receiving The Daily Catholic, please feel free to share with them and encourage them to sign up themselves.
With gratitude,
The Daily Catholic team
